After that dab on a concealer, that goes with your skin tones.
The very last step is to line the eye with a white pencil just beneath the lash line. This will give the impression of better and brighter eyes.

Eye Makeup Tips for glamorous look:

  • To cover the dark under eye circles, apply three dots of concealer under each eye. First start at the inner corner, then under the pupil and the third on the outer edge.
  • Apply eye base to your lid, which is the secret of keeping your shadow in place for hours.
  • Then follow with eyeliner mostly dark eye shades work great as eyeliners. Wet a slanted brush, and then dip it in a dark eye shades. Line the eyes as close to the upper lashes as possible from the inner corner to the outer corner.
  • Then comes the eye shadow, it's great to use a three-toned shadow. First blend them each other like a rainbow so that it looks gorgeous. • To highlight your eye brow take the same light eye shadow and apply it on your eye brow bone, concentrating on your mid-brow outward and then blend with your finger
  • Curl your eyelash with eyelash that gives you long lashes look more gorgeous.
  • Finally apply mascara by placing the stick of your mascara brush at the bottom of lashes and twist back and forth.

Face Makeup Tips

A fresh face is always in style. If you're easing yourself into makeup or would simply like to try something new, the 'natural look' will be perfect for you. Of course, even the natural look takes a little bit of time and practice. Here are some tips to look beautiful.

  1. Clean your face of any previous makeup. Put makeup remover or water on a cotton ball. Dab or rub the cotton ball in small circles to remove old makeup. Determine your skin type and cleanse, tone and moisturize with suitable products twice daily. If you have skin problems like spots/blackheads, exfoliate your skin.

  2. Moisturize your face. Using a small dab the size of a pea, gently rub in an unscented, oil free lotion. Scented lotions can aggravate your skin and cause breakouts or an allergic reaction, and oily lotions will encourage acne. For a more natural look, instead of using foundation, use a tinted moisturizer. Tinted moisturizers blend in while evening out your skin tone and commonly contain SPF. Those lucky girls with clearer skin will look best using tinted moisturizer.

  3. Apply concealer to any blemishes and around your eyes. Applying your concealer before foundation helps keep foundation to a minimal amount. Make sure this is the exact same color as your skin. When you apply the concealer, do so directly on the spot and not around it. This is to avoid a halo effect and emphasis of the spot. Optionally set with beige powder. Be careful not to overdo it on the concealer; you only need enough to cover the spot.

  4. Apply a powder foundation on the oilier parts of your face. Before you start, it’s best to determine whether or not you’re using the right foundation color. Get in a natural light and test the foundation to make sure it's the right color for your skin. Dab a few marks on your cheek and angle your face different ways to see if the color matches. Take your finger or a sponge dab in the foundation, and dab it on your face, blending it until it looks like your skin tone. Be sure to go underneath your jaw line; if you stop at the edge of your face, there will be a clear line where the foundation ends, making it look like you’re wearing a mask. If you have bags or discoloration under your eyes, make 3 dots on the line of the circles under your eyes. Blend it gently using your ring finger.

  5. Apply Bronzer. Some people wait until after they have applied makeup to their eyes to add bronzer or blush. Bronzer is a great way to give yourself a natural glow. Lightly brush bronzer all over your face (or just along your cheekbones and T-Zone for a natural suntan appearance). However, bronzer can look silly on people with pale skin if applied incorrectly. Practice at home with bronzer to see if it looks good on you before going out with it on. If you don't like the way it looks, skip this step.

  6. Apply Blush. If you were not happy with bronzer, you can apply blush instead. Crème blush generally works better than powder because it gives you a dewy look and lasts longer. Using a champagne-tinted Crème blush, rub a little on your ring finger and blend onto your cheekbones.       Note that you should not apply both blush and bronzer; choose one.

    Skin Care Tips For Summer

Summer is the season when you have to take special care of your skin. You may be surprised that your summer skin, which looked radiant throughout winter, suddenly looks dull, blemished and oily. This is because, in winter your skin's natural oils solidifies, whereas in summer it flows freely. It's estimated that 90 percent of wrinkles cause due to sun exposure. The sun's long- and short-wave ultraviolet rays, or UVA and UVB, penetrate the deepest layers of skin, damaging the collagen the spongy protein that gives skin it's structure, firmness, and elasticity. Fair skin wrinkles more readily than dark skin because it contains less pigment, which acts as a natural sunscreen, blocking some of the sun's damaging UVA and B rays. To prevent wrinkles caused due to sunrays stay out of the sun, especially between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when it's almost directly overhead and UV radiation is strongest. Stay in the shade as much as possible. And wear protective clothing and plenty of sunscreen. Strive to apply sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before stepping outside. Sunscreen should always be reapplied after contact with water or after sweating. Sunscreen also should be worn year round every time you leave the house. Shop for sunscreen that blocks against UVB and UVA rays both believed to induce skin cancer.

Smooth on a moisturizer that contains sunscreen in proper concentration. Put it on before you leave the house and reapply every two hours. Wear proper sunglasses and a hat with a broad brim.

Moisturization is the most important part of daily skin care. Your skin needs more water than anything else and moisturizers are more needed in summer when you lose most of your body salts by sweating. Buy a water-based moisturizer and use it without fail. Make it a habit to wash your face gently with water a number of times in a day. Steam your face regularly to open the pores and clean your face of the dirt (five minutes for dry skin and 10 minutes if it is oily). Pat dry with tissue and moisturize.

A few moisturizers you can make at home:

    1. Take cucumber juice and watermelon juice in equal proportions and apply on face. You can cool it in the frig before use.

    2. Rose water is also a good moisturizer and it can be sprayed on the face to tone and refresh it.

    Hair Care Tips

    Washing, Combing, Drying:

First and foremost, always comb your hair gently to prevent breakage. Hair is at its weakest when wet. So never brush your hair when wet. As far as possible let your hair dry naturally. Use dryers only when you are pressed for time or when you want to set them for an occasion. Detangle your hair before you wash it. Wet hair is very fragile so brush you hair thoroughly before getting into the shower.

    Oiling and Shampoos:

Oil you hair at least twice a week or for a day before washing. Oil really does wonders for your hair: coating each strand and making it shine. Besides oil massage also increases the circulation in the scalp and promotes hair growth. Avoid using harsh shampoos and conditioners as they can harm your hair and make them dry. Tackle dandruff with good anti dandruff shampoos. Most of all try to keep your hair clean and do not expose it to strong wind, dust and pollution. Use a scarf while on a two wheeler.

    Home Remedies For Dandruff

Dandruff, also known as seborrheic dermatitis is a common scalp disorder. It can occur due to dry skin, irritated oily skin, growth of bacteria and fungus on the scalp, inflammatory skin conditions and other such factors. It causes itchiness along with excessive formation of dry skin flakes on the scalp.
Dandruff can be controlled by following a healthy hair care routine. You can also try some simple natural home remedies. It is true that natural remedies take time to show results but they can effectively treat the problem completely.

Here are effective home remedies for dandruff.

    Lemon and Coconut Oil Massage:

The citric property of lemon works wonders in reducing dandruff over time. For this massage, Heat 2 table spoon of coconut oil and mix equal amount of lemon juice to it and massage gently on your scalp. Leave it for 20 minutes and then rinse off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this 3-4 times a week for a few weeks to get effective results.

    Baking Soda:

This good old baking ingredient is of great use when it comes to fighting dandruff. Take a spoonful of baking soda and rub it thoroughly in your wet hair and scalp. Leave it on for a minute and then wash it off. Continue this four times a week for a few weeks. The results may take time to appear, but this one is a sure remedy for flakes.

    Curd:

Take a small amount of white sour curd or yogurt and leave it in the open for a day or two for fermentation. Whisk the curd and apply it to your scalp and hair like a mask and leave it on for an hour. Rinse it thoroughly with a mild shampoo. The acidic quality of the curd not only helps combat dandruff, but conditions it to give it a shiny, soft texture.

    Fenugreek (Methi) Pack:

Fenugreek is a spice that is readily available in our kitchen. Soak a handful of fenugreek seeds in water overnight. Make a paste and apply on scalp and hair and leave on for about an hour. Rinse it off and wash hair with a mild shampoo. Repeat this 3-4 times a week for best results. The anti-fungal property of fenugreek helps reduce dandruff and sooth irritation and itching.

    Heena:

Heena or mehndi is an age old natural hair conditioner that has been used for centuries to treat hair problems. Mix henna, tea liquor and curd in a glass bowl and add lemon juice to it. Keep aside for 8-10 hours and apply it to hair and scalp in the form of a pack. Leave it for 1-2 hours, rinse it off and wash thoroughly with a mild shampoo. Repeat it once a week for best results.

    Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple Cider Vinegar is available in any major departmental store or super market. Vinegar is an active agent in fighting fungus. Mix one part of apple cider vinegar with equal part of water and keep aside. Wash your hair normally and then apply the mixture to wet hair. Massage your scalp thoroughly with this mixture. Make sure it does not get in to your eyes. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse off with water. Repeat it daily for about a week and say bye-bye to dandruff.

    Tea tree Oil:

Tea tree oil is great for hair and it smells wonderful too. Apply a small amount of this oil to the flaky patches. Leave it on for 5 minutes and wash off. Repeat this 2-3 times for a week. Tea tree oil often triggers allergies in some people. In that case, go for a tea tree oil shampoo that has at least 5% tea tree oil which works as good as the oil. Fuller Earth (Multani Mitti) Hair Pack:

Apply it on hair and scalp and leave on for 20 minutes and wash off with water.

    Neem Juice:

Since ancient times, neem has been used as a medicine for its natural antiseptic properties. Make a thick paste by grinding neem leaves in a food processor and apply this paste to the scalp and leave for 10 minutes then wash off with water. Leaves of neem can also be boiled in water and the water can be used for washing hair. This method is equally effective in keeping dandruff at bay.

    Orange Peel Pack:

Citric acid and vitamin C in oranges helps in improving skin texture and tone. But orange peel too, has great benefits when it comes to hair. The acidic property of orange peel helps reduce excess oil, and conditions hair. Mix orange peel and lemon juice in a food processor to bring it to a paste. Apply it to scalp, leave for half an hour and wash off with a shampoo. Repeat this 2-3 times a week for best results.

Although, dandruff might be a nagging problem, but remember the next time you are beating your head about the flakes, the solution might be just in front of your eyes- in your kitchen or freezer. Please leave your comments and suggestions below.
